burning under the ribs or in the back, new or worsening heart burn,

Mild heart burn or stomach upset, diarrhea, gas or constipation,
mild joint or back pain or headache are less serious side effects of
Risedronate “Actonel “.

effects that are known to be associated with Risedronate Actonel.
Just because a side effect is stated above does not mean that all
people using Risedronate Actonel will experience that or any side
effect.
When you experience any sort of a side effect first check if it is
normal or what is causing it. If you can isolate the cause eliminate
it. If the drug is causing it or is reacting with something else,
then your doctor is your best friend. This is the reason why you
must take any medication only after acquiring a doctor’s
prescription.
